The journal of a 1st-century Roman officer detailing his campaign subduing the barbarous Welsh tribes. One section describes a series of battles with the Silures, whose druids were in command of a terrifying dragon. The Romans despaired of prevailing, until a rival faction of druids put an enchantment on the dragon for them, sending it to sleep. The Romans built a large fort, Isca Silurum [modern Caerleon], to keep an eye on the area and make sure no such thing ever happened again.
